Hangin' with the Boys

Here's just a peak at the handsome boys I've been hanging out with this month. What a treat to take these pictures! Enjoy.

Let Me See the Animals, just not too close!

Yesterday we went out to do some shopping and I made a deal with Eleanor to stop at the pet store if she was good (she's been begging to go for a week). The part I find hillarious is that she is petrified to get out of the car because the truck parked next to us has a big black dog sticking his head out the window! After we got past the animal in the parking lot she thoroughly enjoyed the animals inside. I guess when it comes to animals, this girl prefers them behind glass!

My Little Mermaid

I know she's way too old for bath pictures, but I had to capture the fun she was having with her "mermaid hair" in the tub. I remember loving that as a kid too.

A Talent I Don't Have

Some of you know I have a very artistically talented brother. Thomas can draw amazingly well, which is a talent I do not have! I think I might even be tempted to pass off Eleanor's art as my own. Anyway, Thomas has drawn a beautiful portrait of President Monson. It will be available in Utah bookstores soon, if not already. I managed to get a few of each size by pulling some strings. :) If you're interested in buying any, just let me know. You can also order through his website: http://www.thomasvirginart.com/.

A better kind of personality profile...

You Are Strawberry Cake

Fresh, sassy, and romantic.

You're a total flirt, who never would turn down a sugary treat.

Occasionally you're a bit moody - but you usually stay sweet!

Ok, that's pretty close to true. But the thing making me moody right now is the absence of a recipe for this delicious looking cake! :)

The Happiest Place on Earth

Boy, it was hard to come back to "real life" after a week in the fantastic, magical world of Disneyland. We spent four and a half days in Disneyland and managed to do everything we thought Eleanor would like, and a few things Mom and Dad liked too. Here's some Disneyland pictures - including one Eleanor took of Mom and Dad with the big camera!

Since our poor desert-dwelling daughter has never seen the ocean before, we made it a priority to go to the beach. She really enjoyed it and was wiggling those toes in the surf before we knew it. We found the Newport Beach Temple while we were there and went to the San Diego Temple on the way back from Sea World. It was just paradise to have several days of 70+ degrees and sunshine - not to mention green! I hope these pictures satisfy you all for now. It will take me some time to make something of the 600 or so I took! I know, I just can't help it. :)

Say It Isn't So!

We were watching the news last night when we saw this story about our favorite Chinese restaurant, Heaven Dragon. Yes, all of our family from out of town, this is where we take you to enjoy Crispy Prawns and the best Sesame Chicken anywhere. Well, it appears the owner is being investigated as the mastermind behind a huge marijuana ring and laundering the profits through his restaurant! They apparently buy new homes in the area (including one in Firestone) for the sole purpose of growing marijuana in the basement. Here's a link to the story:

So, the next question is... do we boycott Heaven Dragon for such questionable morals, or hurry and go before Crispy Prawns are no more?
