Would it be Crazy?
So, there are some incredibly tempting deals on flights to Seattle right now. They're only good through the end of May. Course, it happens to be our anniversary right then and I would take any excuse to go to Seattle anytime. I'm looking for an opinion from those of you who've experienced the newborn stage a lot more recently than I have. Would it be crazy to plan a little weekend trip with a 2 month old baby? Gavin would probably like to go sans baby, but that might be a bit soon for that. What do you think?

Go for it!! Wasn't Ellie sleeping through the night at 5 weeks? I'm sure her little sister will be a great sleeper as well.
We took Maddie to UT when she was only 5 weeks old and she did great (her brother, on the other hand, had a little bit more trouble adjusting, but that's another story :-))
A baby Bjorn would come in really handy for packing her around during the trip---if you don't have one you are welcome to borrow ours--just let me know and I'll bring it out in April.
And by the way, the puppet show is fabulous--not a hassle at all. I just haven't figured out how to perform while keeping Isaac from hanging from the stage! With Ryan there to help me, though, it will work out great :)
I say go for it!!! You could even leave her and Eleanor with us so you could go sans kiddos.
How can you pass up those terrific prices???? We'd be happy to tend children for you!!
I say go for it too! It's just a couple of days and it will probably feel great to get out by that time anyway.
I think that it would depend on what you wanted to do. There are so many things that you walk around, so packing a front pack with a baby probably wouldn't be that bad. I think if you can swing it GO! I know you have visited/ lived there, but I loved visiting there and would go again so fast.
I think the younger they are the easier it is to take them places. It would be fun, that's for sure!
Well.... that all depends... Would you be back and ready for another short trip by the end of the month? :)
I think you should! We took Blake with us to San Diego when he was 6 weeks old and then we went to Chicago 2 weeks later (both were for conferences, but we went sight-seeing while we were there :) ). We carried him around in a front carrier and had a blast!

Why not? It just takes a little planning and patience. We took Kaedon to England when he was two months old and he did great.
