Lots of Things to Celebrate

We're so excited to share the news that we're expecting a baby girl in the spring! Here's her little profile at 16 wks. Also, a healthy-looking heart for everything they can see so far. We're still looking for just the right name for this little one. We've tried to stick with Queen/King names and a name that can be found in a song. So, we'd love any suggestions you've got. Otherwise Eleanor might get her way and name her Rapunzel!
Also this week, we've been in our house for 7 years! Wow. Time to repaint. And I'm having a rather big number birthday this weekend. Thanks to all my friends who've already gracefully crossed that threshold for cushioning the blow for me. We're so grateful for all the things to celebrate this week.

Hooray! I am so excited for your family, Becky! Eleanor will love her little sister.

7 years in your home--impressive! You are the only one of the five families who moved in all at the same time to still be there. Such perseverance =) Happy birthday to your home and especially to you!

Congratulations!! That is fantastic news :)

Are you trying to say there's a problem with Rapunzel??

Candace is a historical name of Ethiopian queens (?), and while i couldn't find that name in lyrics I found a beautiful reference to a song a father wrote for his daughter Candace http://www.willsongs.com/plusplus/candace_song/index.htm

Congratulations. She's beautiful already! How about Esther... we haven't found a song yet, but there is a beautiful song that Queen Esther sings on Veggie Tales. :-)

I cried when I saw that ultrasound picture. You should know that all prayers in our household have centered around you. We just got back late last night from our trip so I am sorry I missed your birthday. I hope you had a great one.

What about Anastasia? I'm sure there's got to be a lullaby somewhere with that name in it. Just a suggestion! ;o)

A tad late on my congrats, but CONGRATS!!!! I've been spending a little too much time on FaceBook. I see many of our friends there, but we need you! It's so nice to see what everyone is up to in one glance. I actually lost your blog address but Carli has her blog on her FB page. Hope to see you there soon. Love the Halloween pics!
